We have brought on a new field maintenance company for the 2007-2008 season. In the past few years Anderson Field has been transformed into a respectable college field. It will only get better!!

Update on the batting cages.....drum roll please......still not finished. It is very disappointing that the baseball athletes have had to endure this. The project started way back in February and we are still waiting for the nets to be hung. Trust me that I'm doing all that I can do to make this happen, ASAP.

Although it does set a great example for the players to see you doing as much field maintenance as you do, this is a great thing as it now gives you another couple hours a day to do other things to help build the OU baseball program.
What are the duties of the filed maintenance crew? Are they taking care of everything now? If so, that is spectacular.
The "Crew" basically takes care of the turf and surrounding areas. Cuts the field, edges, trims the fence line, maintains the irrigation...They are going to cut back the kudzu and clean up the hill (probably not wearing Khakis, a Tommy golf shirt and timberlands). We wil lstill take care of the clay areas, but they wil lhelp with this area, too. Progress!!
