I'll get to the games against ACC later this week but I wanted to update everyone on an injury that occurred on Saturday morning during practice.
Freshmen outfielder Jason Mitchell suffered a fractured sinus cavity and orbital bone when he fouled off a pitch directly under his right eye. He was rushed to the ER and underwent a CT scan. Thankfully he did not suffer any spinal or brain injuries. Jason was in good spirits late yesterday afternoon and our thoughts are with him and his family.
